Adamskii reviewed this game a few months back, saying that it was OK, but nothing special.

I picked up the game from Hemswell for a few quid and I have to say it is very enjoyable. Luckily for me, you can disable the weapons, bringing the competition down to just pure crashing. However, I eventually tried the Mini-gun and found it a lot quicker to rack up a few victories.
I've still got a long way to go in the game, as I've only really tried out the Single Events, such as Wrecking and Stunt Shows, but I've started a career well with a flawless victory in my 'diablo'.
Still, I don't see the game lasting as long as say, Gran Turismo. But it's on par with Burnout - or at least as entertaining as.
Crashday is yet another game installed from the huge pile I have sitting next to me. I'm yet to try Quake 4; F.E.A.R; Vietcong 2; Doom 3; NFSMW; SW Battlefront II; Serious Sam II; Toca 3; along with a few demos.
Before I finish, I should add that Lego Star Wars II is going to be even bigger than the first. I've played the demo briefly but the session was long enough to see the improvements and additions they've made. For a start, you can now control vehicles - Luke's Speeder in the demo. Also, it's based on the original trilogy, which in many people's opinions, are the best of the 6. Finally, the cut-scenes are hilarious... It looks like the full game will be released mid-September (11th if my memory serves me well). Another that I'll purchase, rather than 'acquire'.
