The parts for my Mini-itx PC arrived today! I'll be putting together a project log once it is finished, but basically it is one of, if not the smallest PC available on the market.
Available from mini-itx.com it's a 533MHz VIA affair, which will probably utilise 512MB PC133 SD-RAM along with a tiny 512MB CF-II card as the Hard-Drive. I've got a larger 2.2GB drive on its way, but I'll probably keep that for Windows 2000.
I'll be running DSL (Damn Small Linux) on the thing, with Firefox and that'll be pretty much it. I just don't like the idea of running a 530w PC for when I need to browse the Internet - the mini-itx PC uses a tiny 60w PSU!
For around £150, this project is turning out to be my cheapest (by far) to date. It'll be named Project Dinky I reckon...
