I don't know what triggered it, but on Friday I had a sudden urge to play through Half Life 2...

Ah wait, I remember now. I'm currently playing through the 3rd chapter, with the airboat and it's proving to be a lot of fun. The second time round, you notice the scenery a lot more - or maybe it's down to everything looking sooooooo much nicer. I mean, the water actually looks like water now and there's bump mapping galore - not to mention no jagged lines anywhere.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is Ravenholm. That section of the game never liked me and I never grew fond of it...

grr the end of the game is annoying, talk about leading off into sequal land. Ill get the next chapters when more are out at one time. I dont want to play episode 2, then wait months for 3 etc. Get em all in a bundle i say i say. Right, shall I do a Demozone review of Dead Rising or not? Cant think what game to do.

Yeah, do one innut. Dead Rising and also the 360 in general - like lots of crazy camera work and contra zoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom.

I'll be buying Episode 1 once I get round to finishing the original. This is the third time I've played it through, but the last two I've formatted right at the end.

Did you spot my Borat quote? I read it today in the Guardian - something about the Kazakhstan leader being really against Borat and the image it portrays of Kasakhstani's - I say don't be a whinging git and get a sense of humour, Mr. Kazakhstan.
