I didn't do any drinking over the weekend, but it ended up as a reasonable weekend, full of mentalist stuff.

Friday evening I travelled down to Windsor. Saturday we went to London to look around - most of the time was spent walking up/down Oxford street, seeing the same dozen shops over and over again; being cramped on the tube and wondering why Leicester square has 5 cinemas, 3 of which are ODEONs. I also bumped into someone famous, he was doing some sort of signing in HMV:

Apparently his School Dinners aren't going down too well, but I blame it on the dinner ladies.

Sunday, Ben came off his bike at 90mph on the A1. Luckily he didn't get a scratch, but it sounds like all the wiring of his bike has melted - the bike itself looks fine. He left Lincoln at 10am and arrived in Windsor after 6pm - over 5 hours later than he should have. They had the police, ambulance service and RAC on the scene all within 15 minutes. Pretty good.

What did y'all get up to at the weekend? I'm expecting Adamskii to reply first, with his review of Borat!

it was a nice but the only bit i wasnt expecting was that bit at the end.... lol that was funny. i wont spoil. B4 it i went to mexican restaurant and ate...err i forget the name, fanjitas maybe. yum yum they were nice but im paying for it today as i took one almighty shit. Barnstaples cinema was hilarious. Looks like it was built in the 1920's and has never been decorated. I went to the 9.35pm showing and figured it would be about half full. Hahaha wrong! there were about 4 other people there it was fooking weird, that just doesnt happen in plymouth. Laughing out loud in a empty cinema is a very very weird experience. Then when i went to drive home there was this thick thick thick freezing fog. was like pea soup i couldnt see a dam thing. Any people i saw thru the mist was like a horror film seeing zombies or something. I think i only hit about 4 of them so better luck next time. Still foggy as fook today as well.

Lincoln's was almost full - not Episode III full, but all the rows on the slant were full to the brim - which made laughing a lot easier, though I could hear my laugh over others'.

When you say the last bit, are you referring to the chase? I'm still in two minds to if parts/all of it was staged, or if only a few of them knew. Favourite bit has to be the china shop for me, I was crying as he kept getting up/falling back down!

oliver is in madamskii twoswords or summink. i mean the bag bit, i wont say anymore. tbh i cant tell what bits were staged and what wernt, i dont think they were staged just because u might as well do it for real, its less hastle and i bet they were on tight budget. guess ill find out on dvd sometime.

True.

As for Oliver, I was hoping it would fool you, but maybe not. He was one of many celebraties I met at Madame Tussauds, such as Sammy L Jacko, Bond, Elvis, Arnie etc.

20 squid says its tuesday cheapo day

adamskii

You've got yourself £20, he wants to see it next Tuesday, as we were at the Gym yesterday. A saving of £1 to sacrifice not seeing it for another week = priceless.
